Implant placement

Is dental implant placement the right choice for you?
If it is determined that there is not enough bone for the implant, a bone grafting procedure using artificial bone can be performed.
Your overall health condition is also an important factor. If you suffer from any systemic diseases, it is essential to disclose them during the consultation so the surgeon can take all factors into consideration.
Smokers have a lower success rate when it comes to dental implants, so quitting smoking is strongly recommended to help the body accept the implants more effectively.

Which implants do we use in our clinic?

Implant procedures
- Fixed restorations
Fixed restorations include crowns, bridges, and hybrid works. A crown replaces a single missing tooth and can be either metal-free (zirconium) or metal-ceramic. A bridge consists of several crowns connected into one unit and is used to replace multiple missing teeth. Hybrid work refers to replacing not only the missing teeth but also a part of the gums (visually). This is usually done for patients who have experienced bone height loss to ensure that the replacement teeth do not appear too long or unnatural.
- Removable restorations
Removable restorations refer to dentures on implants. The main advantage of these dentures is that they do not require a portion that rests on the palate, as they stay in the mouth by means of suction. Not only do they not fall out during use, but they also do not trigger a gag reflex since they only extend through the former dental arch, or now the current bone ridge.
- All on 4/All on 6
This term is used for edentulous jaws and refers to a prosthetic solution using 4 or 6 implants in one jaw. The solution can be either fixed or removable, depending on the condition and the patient’s preference. Whether 4 or 6 implants will be placed depends on the bone condition and quantity. 4 implants are placed when there are insufficient conditions for 6 implants, usually due to significant bone resorption that cannot be restored with artificial bone grafting.
