We process data in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Serbia, as well as regulations in the field of healthcare and medical documentation.
1. What data we collect
a) Data you provide us. When you fill out the contact form, request an appointment, or contact us via email, phone, or social media, we may collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, and the content of the message you send us.
b) Data about Site usage. We automatically collect your IP address, device type, browser and operating system, pages you visit, time and duration of your visit, and approximate location (based on IP address).
c) Cookies and similar technologies. The Site uses cookies, which are small files stored on your device. We use:
-
- necessary cookies, without which the Site cannot function properly;
- functional cookies, which remember your settings;
- analytics and marketing cookies (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel), which we set only with your consent.
You may accept, decline, or delete cookies in your browser settings or via the cookie notice on the Site. If you decline cookies, some parts of the Site may not function fully.
d) Health data. Please refrain from sending us information about your health condition via the Site or the contact form. If you nevertheless provide us with such data through these channels, we process it only to respond to your inquiry, with special care and protection. During the actual examination and treatment at the Practice, we also collect data about your health condition necessary for the safe and professional provision of dental services — including allergies, medication you are currently taking (e.g. anticoagulant therapy), general health conditions relevant to anesthesia or implant placement, and other anamnestic information. This data falls into a special category of personal data and is processed exclusively for the purpose of providing the healthcare service you have sought, in accordance with the Law on Patients’ Rights, the Law on Healthcare, and the Law on Medical Documentation and Records in Healthcare. Dental records and treatment data are kept separately, at the practice, in accordance with the aforementioned regulations, and are not covered by this Policy insofar as it relates to the Site.
2. Why we use your data
We use your data to:
- respond to your inquiries and schedule appointments;
- communicate with you regarding your request;

- analyze visits and improve the Site and our services;
- send notifications and promotional messages, only if you have explicitly consented to this;
- fulfill legal obligations and protect our rights.
The legal basis for processing is your consent, the need to act on your request, the provision of healthcare services and the legal obligation to maintain medical records, our legitimate interest (security and improvement of the Site), or a legal obligation, depending on the purpose. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal; this does not affect the legally mandated obligation to maintain medical records.
3. Who has access to your data
We do not publish your data publicly and do not disclose it to third parties for their independent purposes. Access may be granted to:
- our associates and service providers who process data on our behalf (hosting, website maintenance, email service, analytics, advertising), only to the extent necessary to provide their service and subject to an obligation to protect the data;
- authorized medical staff of the Practice, as well as the patient’s chosen physician, with the patient’s consent, for the purpose of providing healthcare services;
- government authorities, if required by law or by order of a competent authority.
4. Data transfer outside Serbia
Some of our service providers (e.g. Google, Meta) may process data on servers located outside the Republic of Serbia. We carry out such transfers only by applying the protective measures required by law, or with your consent when required. Medical records and health data are not transferred outside the Republic of Serbia, except when explicitly requested by the patient or required by law.
5. How long we keep data
We keep data only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, namely:
- data from inquiries and correspondence: 12 months from the last communication, unless an appointment is scheduled or another legal obligation applies;
- data based on consent: until consent is withdrawn;
- data on Site usage: in accordance with cookie retention periods and analytics tool settings;
- medical records (charts, findings, images): for the periods prescribed by the Law on Medical Documentation and Records in Healthcare and accompanying bylaws.
After the expiry of these periods, the data is deleted or anonymized, except for medical records whose retention is prescribed by specific regulations.
6. Data security
We apply reasonable technical, organizational, and personnel security measures against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse of data, including special protective measures for medical records as prescribed by relevant laws. However, no transmission of data over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may send a request to indental.ns@gmail.com. We will respond without undue delay, and no later than 30 days from receipt of the request. This period may be extended where permitted by law, and we will notify you accordingly.
If you believe your data is being processed contrary to the law, you have the right to file a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (poverenik.rs).
